If you are coming from the Eastern US then Delta, American, and Spirit Airlines will be where to look.
Arrival Day Options
When do you need to arrive?
When booking your flight keep in mind that the Retreat begins the evening of the first scheduled date so if you are flying on that day make sure you are landing in MGA no later than 1 pm. Depending on where you are coming from this may or may not be possible, in which case you may need to fly in the day before.

Managua Hotel Information...
Depending on your flights you may have to spend a night upon arrival/departure in a hotel in Managua. If this happens we will offer you a few excellent hotel options to choose from. We will make the reservations, and arrange all the necessary transportation. Below are a couple of the hotels we will recommend for these circumstances...

Situated in the heart of the city, this small boutique hotel is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, and within walking distance of several great restaurants. The hotel has a very colonial-style-feel to it with beautiful indoor courtyards and an excellent antique collection. The staff here are very accommodating, the rooms and beds are super comfortable, and the included breakfast is by far the best in town!

Located in the heart of Managua walking distance to the MetroCentro Mall this hotel is know for excellent service, friendly staff, and all the comforts of home! They also have an outdoor pool which you will surely make use of.
Restaurant Recommendations in Managua
We know many of our Yogi friends are vegetarians, and you will be provided with excellent vegetarian options. However, if you do eat meat, we highly recommend trying some while visiting Nicaragua. Two of Nicaragua's specialties we recommend for those who do enjoy meat are the homemade sausage (chorizo) as well as the Churrasco (steak prepared in a special chimmichuri-herb sauce). They're national dishes, and can be found on nearly every menu in local restaurants.
Ola Verde
This restaurant has a Mediterranean influence and offers tapas style plates as well as main dishes. The menu is full of healthy vegetarian friendly options and the ambiance is elegant yet casual.
Tercer Ojo
This restaurant has a fusion flare to the diverse menu. Try everything from sushi, to curries, to crepes, or a classic nicaraguan steak. For non-meat eaters this restaurant will have a handful of vegetarian apps as well as seafood entrees. If you make your way here make sure and get dessert! They have the best molten chocolate cake in Nicaragua!
Savor
This restaurant is located in the food court at the Galaria Mall. There are a handful of restaurants in the food court that range anywhere from super casual to fine dining and is a great place to go if would like some options. Most of the restaurants offer indoor and outdoor seating and the major difference being the ambiance. Indoor seating will be comfortable and air conditioned. If you do decide to eat at Savor try the brie appetizer!!
Porterhouse
This steakhouse has a very charming atmosphere and excellent food. Although it is a steakhouse there are a couple of vegetarian friendly appetizers and seafood entrees. Try the lobster bisque and make sure to save room for dessert!!
